J2 Development was Founded by Damon Hanson.
Damon was born and raised in Renton, WA just south of Seattle where he spent his youth playing hockey starting at the age of 3 years old. In 2010 he found himself moving to Helena, Montana where he started his junior hockey career.
Specializing in power skating and advanced skill training, Coach Hanson brings a unique ability to break down complex techniques into clear, teachable components, tailored to each player's needs. Whether you're a beginner learning the fundamentals or an advanced player aiming for a professional career, these one-on-one sessions focus on biomechanics, skating efficiency, puck control, and game-relevant skills to help you excel. Lessons are available for all ages and skill levels, with flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
